Rochester EV Accelerator hosts several opportunities throughout the year for Rochesterians to test drive and learn about plug-in electric vehicles. Our Ride & Drive events are unique, as they provide an in-depth educational experience, and opportunity for you to ask questions about what it is like to own an EV. You will enjoy speaking with the event volunteers, most of which own EVs themselves and are excited to share their experience with you.
Be sure to ask our EV owners and volunteers about:
- How electric vehicles save you money
- The great features of different electric vehicle models
- How to charge electric vehicles
- The role electric vehicles play in curbing harmful emissions
- How electric vehicles help reduce U.S. dependence on oil
